Random Fact #1

Hey guys! I know I said this was going to be a blog all about beauty and fashion and things related to that, but I wanted to do a more personal post today so you guys could get to know me better. These posts are going to be put up between my other posts at various times. Please note that these are RANDOM facts and they probably have no significance to anything whatsoever, and they are just for fun. Also, these are FACTS so they are true/real things about me.

Fact #1
I have been dancing since I was 4 years old. At the age of 4, my parents signed me up for Ballet classes and I was thrilled! I always wanted to be a Ballerina and was amazed at how beautifully they danced. Ballet lessons went on until I was around the age of 10. I quit to focus more on classical dancing, which I started at the age of 6. Classical dancing was a whole new experience for me, but it widened my knowledge of dancing. I took about 8-9 years of classical dancing, and graduated from that dancing school at the age of 14 with a Bachelors Degree (that school had a program where you could graduate with a degree and it took 7 years to get a Bachelor's). During those years I also performed in school musicals/plays, talent shows, parties, performances, and competitions. From there I continued my passion for dancing in school and out. I have earned 16 trophies so far.

Fashion Galore

Hey guys! I was searching the internet today, when I came across this amazing website! Its called lookbook.nu and its pretty much an "outfit of the day" forum. People will post their outfits and you can comment on them, become their fan, etc. The outfits that these people wear aren't ordinary, every single one of them are fashion forward! I thought this would be a great way to get some fashion inspiration. It is completely free to make an account, and may I say, completely worth it! This website defiantly allows me to dream chic!

Whats in style for New Years Eve 2011?

Hey guys! As you all know, New Years Eve is right around the corner. Most of us go to parties or even to New York to watch the ball drop first hand. We all want to look cute for the last hours of the year, and we begin to question, whats in style for New Years Eve? Never fear, I'm here! In this blog post I am going to update you guys on some of the trends for New Years Eve 2011!


Trend #1- Feathers

Feathers add a bit of glam to any outfit! This trend can be added to just about any outfit, and it doesn't have to be in huge amounts. Feathers add texture and interest to outfits, and can be added in the form of a skirt, jacket, or even accessories!


Trend #2- Sequins

Wearing sequins will defiantly show off your holiday spirit! These sparkly embellishments will raise the glam and festivity factor to any outfit. Sequins are defiantly give a bold statement, but they are perfect for New Years Eve! I personally like to were them in the form of a jacket, skirt, dress, tanks, and even leggings!

Trend #3- Statement Jewelry

Statement Jewelry has been a huge trend of 2010, so why not bring it back again for New Years? If you're not daring enough to wear sequins, go with a simple outfit and accessorize with bold costume-like earrings or necklaces. That will defiantly get people to do a double-take!

Trend #4- Bright Colors and Metallic

Bright Colors are a must have! Colors like hot pink, yellow, green, and will catch everyone's attention! Another big color trend are metallic colors! They might be bold for a regular day, but New Years Eve is not a regular day! The most popular clothing pieces for both these color trends are dresses and tops!
